Moon Commerce Group celebrated Lunar New Year 2026 with a nationwide activation across the United Kingdom.
Following successful celebrations in the United States, the Dealmoon UK team brought the spirit of the Year of the Fire Horse to major cultural centers across the country. Events took place in London, Manchester, and Swansea, connecting communities through celebration, partnerships, and live engagement.
The campaign blended cultural tradition with modern digital interaction, creating a powerful moment of connection between brands, communities, and the growing Moon Commerce ecosystem.
The UK activation focused on three key cities known for their vibrant Lunar New Year celebrations and strong Chinese communities.
London
London served as the centerpiece of the activation, with Moon Commerce Group present during the city's Lunar New Year celebrations in Trafalgar Square and Chinatown.
As one of the largest Lunar New Year celebrations outside of Asia, the festivities attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors. Lion dances, live performances, and cultural programming created a high energy environment where Moon Commerce Group connected directly with attendees through app engagement, brand experiences, and community interaction.
Manchester
In Manchester, the team joined the city's famous Dragon Parade through the city center.
The celebration brought together residents, visitors, and the region's growing tech and commerce community. The activation focused on cultural celebration while introducing new audiences to the Moon Commerce ecosystem.
Swansea
In Swansea, the activation highlighted the themes of activity and vitality associated with the Year of the Fire Horse.
The event connected with a passionate and growing user base in Wales and expanded Moon Commerce Group's presence beyond the largest metropolitan areas.
The Lunar New Year campaign brought together a network of strategic partners who participated directly in the celebrations.
Strategic partners played an active role in the celebration through branded booths, stage moments, and interactive experiences that connected directly with the community. These collaborations helped demonstrate the growing ecosystem Moon Commerce Group is building across commerce, community, and culture.
By combining local cultural moments with partner participation, the campaign created meaningful engagement both on site and across digital channels.
The Fire Horse appears only once every sixty years, making this Lunar New Year particularly meaningful.
Moon Commerce Group used the moment to strengthen relationships with communities and partners across the United Kingdom. The campaign demonstrated how cultural storytelling, local engagement, and digital commerce can work together to create lasting impact.
As the Year of the Horse begins, the momentum continues. Moon Commerce Group remains focused on building deeper connections with users and partners across the UK and around the world.
